• Calculate a standard cell potential by combining two standard electrode potentials and use it to deduce polarity, electron flow, and reaction feasibility.
• Deduce from standard electrode potential values the relative reactivity of elements, compounds, and ions as oxidising or reducing agents, and construct redox equations.
